MINDFULNESS-BASED STRESS REDUCTION PROGRAM
Led by Dr. Jaak Reichmann via Zoom
An 8-week course enabling people to let go of the past, worry less about the future, and live more fully in the present moment. Practices include sitting, standing, lying and moving meditations. Deal effectively with stress, depression and chronic pain.
What is it?
Mindfulness can be defined as non-judgmental moment-to-moment awareness. It involves being more aware of everything that is going on inside you and around you, moment by moment, in less judgmental, more accepting ways. Mindfulness allows you to be more comfortable with who you are, and to deal more effectively with whatever life brings you, from a place of inner strength and stability.
What will you learn?
This 8-week program involves the step-by-step learning and practicing of various methods in mindfulness, allowing you to let go of the past, worry less about the future and live more fully in the present moment. The mindfulness practices include sitting, standing, lying and moving meditations, designed to bring more awareness and acceptance into your daily life, and to help you deal more effectively with stress anxiety, depression and chronic pain.
