What is Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction  (MBSR)?

This 8-week program involves the step-by-step learning and  practicing of various mindfulness techniques, designed to help let go of the past, worry less about the  future, and live more fully in the present moment.  The mindfulness practices include sitting, standing, lying and moving meditations, designed to bring more awareness and acceptance into our daily lives, and help a person deal more effectively with their stress, anxiety, depression and chronic pain.
